Dogs are welcome at Brecks Cottage Bed and Breakfast
Brecks Cottage a dog-friendly B&B, as long as you have a friendly dog with well behaved owners.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog(s) with you.
We work very hard to ensure that all our guests enjoy a clean, fresh environment when staying with us.
We do not make an additional room or cleaning charge when we welcome our four-legged guests but if any damage does occur, then sadly, we will have to charge you for any replacements or repairs.
We also would appreciate people NOT bathing their dogs in the wet rooms, outside taps are available.
Doggy Ground Rules
So that your dog does not interrupt the peace and quiet of other guests, we have a few doggy ground rules, which MUST be followed when staying with us:
Dogs are welcome to stay with their owners in our Annex bedrooms but not in the main house. Please bring your own dog bedding/crates. Click here to view our Annex Barn Conversion bedrooms.
Please do not allow dogs to sleep on the beds or chairs, even with covers applied.
Please be mindful that although we personally love dogs, not everyone is a dog-lover and our next guest may be allergic to dogs, so please keep your beloved pets off the beds and chairs. Muddy dogs should be hosed down and towel-dried before entering the bedroom. We will provide towels for you to dry any wet paws and a dustpan and brush to sweep up any mud.
Dogs cannot not be left unattended in the bedrooms, this includes leaving dogs in crates. To prevent any damage and disturbance to other guests, we would kindly ask you to place your dogs in your car while you have breakfast in the main house.
Dogs are not permitted in the main house or dining room.
Owners should be aware that there is a road at the front of the house.
Please remember you are in the countryside. Dogs should be kept on leads at all time around livestock and all dog mess should be removed and disposed of safely.
